Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 6, 2026
We want CRE Blurb to be easy to read for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, zoom or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What is in place
- Keyboard navigation. Every link and control works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus outline.
- Skip link. A "Skip to content" link at the top of each page jumps past the masthead.
- Text contrast. Text is dark on white or white on navy, chosen for strong contrast.
- Image descriptions. Every chart has a text description that includes the actual numbers it shows.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the markets ticker does not scroll.
- Pause control. The scrolling markets ticker has a Pause button, and screen readers hear its values once as plain text.
- Readable text. Body text is 16 to 18 pixels with generous line spacing, and pages work when zoomed or read on a phone.
Known limitations
- Charts are images. Each one has a full text description, and the same numbers appear in the data rows beside it.
- Issues link to news and data on other websites, and we cannot control how accessible those sites are.
